Bergman School’s Dyslexia Population Data

Bergman School has implemented the Take Flight Dyslexia curriculum for students with markers for dyslexia since the 2015-2016 school year.  All students K-2nd are required to be screened.  

The following data has been compiled for the 2017/2018 school year:  Students tested beyond initial screening:  33 students received services at some point during this school year.  Elementary students:  20; Middle school:  11; High school:  2.  We ended the year with 24 students in intervention groups.  9 students either moved schools or exited the program.  

The following data has been compiled for the 2018/2019 school year:  45 students are identified as needing dyslexia interventions, but only 42 of those students receive them in a small group setting.  2 denied interventions and 1 moved away the last quarter.
