Public Meeting Notice

The Bergman School District will host a public meeting on January 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary Assembly Room.

The District is proposing an extension of the current bond issue along with a 2-mill increase to fund in-classroom tornado and active-shooter safety shelters. Bergman School District is currently at 32 mills; the proposed increase would keep the District among the lowest millage rates in Boone County.

The last millage increase approved by voters was in 2002, which funded the construction of four classrooms, two cafeterias, a kitchen, and a PE facility.
