Bergman School District is pleased to announce its intent to apply for the Nita M. Lowery 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant for the upcoming school year.
This federal initiative provides funding to establish or expand community learning centers that offer students academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours. Our goal in seeking this funding is to provide a safe, supportive environment where students can receive academic assistance, participate in STEM activities, and explore the arts, while also offering literacy and educational development services to their families.
If awarded, the grant will allow us to Boost Academic Success: Provide tutoring and homework help aligned with state standards. Expand Horizons: Offer enrichment activities such as coding, music, physical fitness, and career exploration. Support Families: Host workshops and events designed to engage parents and caregivers in their child's education.
