The Board is now accepting petitions from qualified electors who are interested in being considered for appointment to fill the unexpired term. Applicants must reside within district and meet all qualifications required by Arkansas law.
Deadline to submit petitions: July 28, 2026

In accordance with Arkansas law, petitions must:
Be submitted no later than 10 days before the noticed meeting (July 28, 2026)
Include signatures from at least 20 qualified electors from the Bergman School
District
State the candidate's intention to be considered for appointment
The Board will consider qualified applicants during a public meeting on August 11, 2026 at 5:30pm.
